Conservatory roof and interior refurbishment — Askam

For this conservatory refurbishment in Askam, I replaced the existing roof with an insulated timber roof finished with a RESTEC fibreglass roofing system. Inside, I carried out plastering, floor levelling, sliding door installation and decorating, including glossing the skirting boards.

Bedroom plastering — Kendal

I boarded the bedroom ceiling, formed an arch and prepared the walls before skimming the walls and ceiling. This left the room ready for the next stage of decorating.

Bathroom alterations and tiling — Hawkshead

For this bathroom project in Hawkshead, I removed a wall, built a new stud partition and widened the doorway. I installed a shower tray, then boarded, plastered and tiled the room. These photographs show my progress before grouting and fitting the bathroom suite.

Render repairs and lead flashing

I removed the old render, replaced the metal reinforcement and installed new lead flashing before re-rendering the surface.

Bath leak repairs and retiling

After a leak when the shower was used, I replaced and waterproofed the affected walls. I supported and resealed the bath, then tiled and grouted the surrounding area and finished it with anti-mould silicone.

Loft insulation installation

I insulated around 150 m² of loft space, fitting a 100 mm layer between the timbers and a further 200 mm layer over the top.
